Promoting the Hobby of Model Railroading in Topeka, Kansas since 1983
§ 01 · All Aboard

Welcome to the Topeka Model Railroaders.

The Topeka Model Railroaders are a dedicated community of hobbyists committed to promoting and preserving the art of model railroading in Topeka, Kansas. Our club brings together enthusiasts of all experience levels to share knowledge, collaborate on detailed and imaginative layouts, and celebrate the craftsmanship that defines the hobby. Through our work and public engagement, we strive to inspire interest, foster creativity, and keep the spirit of railroading alive for future generations.

Our work focuses primarily on HO scale modeling, where we bring detailed scenes and operations to life through two traveling layouts: a multi-section modular layout and a smaller, self-contained 4x8 display. These portable setups allow us to showcase the hobby at events and connect with the public in a hands-on way. While HO scale is our main focus, we actively encourage members to share and explore projects in N scale, O scale, and other scales, creating a diverse and inclusive environment that reflects the full breadth of model railroading.
